5 Things: 1:1 Decision, Front Street Closure

Our weekday morning column, 5 Things You Need to Know, provides you with information that can help you plan your day and give you some fodder for water cooler conversations.

1. Grocery Dash: The took place  on Tuesday at . Both Ellen Robinson and Brian Thomas won the chance to go in a four-minute spree around the grocery store. Combined the winners received more than $1,800 worth of groceries.

2. Front Street Closure: Starting Friday June 15 Front Street will be closed for the culvert repair. The street closing will effect Front Street at South Mill Street as well as, Ash Street from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The intentions are to complete the work in one day. Due to the nature of the repairs, it may require later that 7, but the intention is to avoid that. Detour signs will be in place and detail police officers will be there to assist motorists around the site.

3. 1:1 Initiative: The is expected to make a tonight during their meeting. Several residents are also expected to be in attendance to share their views on the program. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Library.
