5 Things: Help Baypath Humane, Holliston Town Clerk

Our weekday morning column, 5 Things You Need to Know, provides you with information that can help you plan your day and give you some fodder for water cooler conversations.

1. Help Baypath Help Animals: Last week posted that they had a “slew of extraordinary medical care costs for incoming cats and dogs; dental extractions, surgeries, expensive treatments and more.” They are asking for people to help support the shelter and the work that they do. If you would like to make a monetary donation click here, you can also stop by the shelter to drop off goods or talk to someone about other ways you can help out.

2. Elizabeth Greendale: was awarded a full scholarship to the New England Municipal Clerks’ Institute & Academy. On July 19th she graduated and is qualified as a Certified Town Clerk, paperwork pending. Greendale was elected to the Clerk position in May 2011, but had previously served as Assistant Town Clerk, and had completed two of the three Institute educational tracks at that time.

3. Get some sun: If you’re looking to enjoy the weather as much as you can, try enjoying a meal outside. , , and more restaurants have outdoor seeting in Hopkinton. Where’s your favorite place to have a meal outside?
