1. Readers’ Choice Voting Starts Monday: You nominated your favorites over the past month, and starting Monday it will be time to vote. We had nominations in 18 of the 25 categories. The polls open at 6 a.m. on Monday so be sure to vote in as many as you feel comfortable with.
2. Pet of the Week: Monte is a very handsome boy who needs to go to special home where his people are home most of the time. Monte does well with cats and would love to live in a multi-greyhound household. For this retired hound, finding a retiree would be the perfect match for him. Monte gets overwhelmed in new situations so a consistent quiet life at home would be perfect for him. Monte would do best with experienced greyhound owners and other confident greyhounds to learn that life isn't so scary. Monte is a wonderful guy and just needs someone to give him the second chance that he needs. Check out Monte and other dogs for adoption at .
