5 Things You Missed at the June 18 Board of Selectmen Meeting
With only two of the three selectmen present, the meeting moved quickly as many conversations were postponed for the full board.

1. Members of the and the held a public forum to gather feedback about the current license the town has with Comcast. Members of the committee indicated that they had already had conversations with other town boards and they all indicated that they were happy with the contract. The committee indicated that they intend to “maintain the status quo”.
2. After several comments from residents in the Marked Tree Road and Wilkins Road neighborhood, the Board of Selectmen approved the placement of a stop sign on Wilkins Road at that intersection
3. The Selectmen approved a request from the Holliston Lions Club for a carnival to be held at the. The carnival will run Wednesday June 27 through Saturday June 30. Wednesday and Thursday the carnival will start at 5 p.m. and conclude at 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday it will run from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

4. The Board voted to execute a request for reimbursement from the Federal Emergency Management Agency for more than $19,000. The money will be used to cover .
5. Starting later this month, the Board of Selectmen is expected to be meeting on Wednesdays through the end of the year. A full schedule wasn’t planned but it expected to be come official at their Wednesday, June 27 meeting.
