5 Things You Need to Know Today: June 1
Congratulations to the class of 2012, celebrate safely tonight and this weekend.

Our weekday morning column, 5 Things You Need to Know, provides you with information that can help you plan your day and give you some fodder for water cooler conversations.
1. High School Graduation: Tonight at 6 the class of 2012 will be crossing the stage, flipping their tassels and getting their diplomas. We’d love to see any pictures you take of your graduate, with your graduate or of the ceremony in general. Look for a user-upload gallery to run Saturday morning so you can share your pics.
2. Learn to Kayak: Enjoy a 1-hour FREE kayak clinic courtesy of Outdoor Recreation of Hopkinton for those who are REGISTERED for the Against the Tide Event sponsored by the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC). MBCC is the state's leading Breast Cancer organization to prevent breast cancer. 5. Weekend Weather: Temperatures are expected to hover around 70 degrees all weekend, but if you’re planning to do something outdoors you’ll want to pay attention. Currently forecasts are calling for rain and thunder on Saturday but you know how fickle Mother Nature can be.
