According to Police Chief John Moore, the pitcher did not mean to strike the opposing team, but the umpire still felt it important to warn the pitcher.
At this point the report from the incident says one of the spectators got angry about the umpires action and began to harass the official.Â

When the umpire threw the spectator out, a pushing match began and according to the report this is when police responded.
None of the people involved in the fight wanted to file a complaint, so as far as the is concerned the issue is over and done with. Moore did say that the altercation was reported to the league, however he is unsure what the results will be.
