Holliston High Seniors Celebrated In Car Parade

Holliston police led the parade as cars carrying graduates drove through the town, waving at proud neighbors.

HOLLISTON, MA — Holliston High School graduates were celebrated by the town in a car parade on Sunday. The commemoration for the seniors' graduation isn't how many seniors envisioned closing out their high school careers, but they smiled and donned their caps and gowns nonetheless.

The parade was led by the Holliston Police Department. Graduates were carried in cars driven by friends or family, many of which were decorated in red and white with the words "Class of 2020" and balloons hanging off the car doors. Some graduates stuck their heads out of sunroofs and windows, showing their graduation gowns or college shirts.

Neighbors lined the parade path, decorating lawns and waving and congratulating passing graduates. The parade went from Placentino School to Holliston High School.
