Holliston Police Log: Two Milford Men Arrested, One Detained by ICE

Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Friday, July 6

12:34 p.m.: A 911 caller told officers at the  that a black Honda SUV was being driven erratically before pulling in to ABC Glass on Washington Street. When an officer arrived on the scene to speak to the operator he discovered that it was being test-driven by a mechanic.

11:17 p.m.: A caller from Gorwin Drive reported that a neighbor’s dog was barking. An officer advised the homeowners to keep the dog quiet.

Saturday, July 7

12:16 a.m.: A caller from Rolling Meadow Drive reported a loud party in the area. Officers checked and spoke with the people involved.

4:29 a.m.: A caller reported a person walking down the center of Washington Street dressed in all black. Officers were unable to locate the person.

4:39 a.m.: An officer reported hearing someone screaming in the woods near Highland Street. A man was found behind his residence and was advised to keep the noise down.

10:16 a.m.: An officer took a report of a motor vehicle that crashed in to a light pole in the parking lot of a Prentice Street business.

3:18 p.m.: A caller reported a small fire in a parking lot on Washington Street. Officers responded and discovered some type of wax ornament that was on fire. They were able to put it out with water.

6:45 p.m.: A 911 caller reported that a vehicle had struck their mirror while driving down Highland Street. The caller reported that the vehicle they had been hit by was a red mini van. An officer located the vehicle at the registered owner’s address and spoke to the owner. The caller filed a report with the department on Sunday.

9:42 p.m.: A caller complained about fireworks in the Concord Street area.

9:53 p.m.: A caller reported an erratic driver on Washington Street. The caller said the vehicle almost hit several cars. Officers stopped the vehicle and Arrested Marcos Da Costa, 37, of 12 Water St., Milford. Da Costa will face charges of operating with a revoked license, marked lanes violation and operating a vehicle with out a valid inspection.

11:37 p.m.: A caller reported a loud party on Fiske Pond Road. Officers spoke with the homeowners who said they would try to keep it down.

Sunday, July 8

1:04 a.m.: A caller reported that the loud party on Fiske Pond Road had picked back up again. Once again officers spoke to the homeowner and strongly advised them to keep the noise down.

2:58 a.m.: The Medway Police Department notified Holliston PD about an erratic driver headed in to town. An officer followed the vehicle from Summer Street to the Ashland town line but didn’t observe any violations.

8:09 a.m.: A caller reported a deceased deer in a yard on Prentice Street. The homeowner was not home at the time and officers were unable to do anything because the deer was on private property. They later contacted the homeowner.

11:00 a.m.: Officers arrested Luis Pinguil-Pomavilla, 29, of 36 Depot St., Milford after a traffic stop on Washington Street. He faces charges of operating a vehicle with a suspended license and failure to wear a seatbelt. Throughout the day officers checked on the prisoner, they also gave him a copy of his detainer rights from Immigration and Customs Enforcement and a notice that they intended on detaining custody of him.

7:46 p.m.: People appeared to be attempting to access the railroad bed near Brook Street. An officer advised them that they were trespassing with a motor vehicle.

9:12 p.m.: A caller from High Rock Road reported that fireworks had been going off at a residence on Sweet Grass Lane since 4th of July. The caller said that on this occasion there was debris coming over his fence. When an officer arrived the area was quiet.

9:53 p.m.: A caller said that her mailbox had just been stolen.

Monday, July 9

Continuing: Officer checked on the prisoner from the traffic stop on Sunday every hour until 7:30 a.m. when he was transported out of the town.

5:26 a.m.: A person from Cedar Street reported that someone had illegally dumped three tires near their residence.

5:44 p.m.: A person reported a small puddle of gasoline in a Washington Street parking lot, the caller also notified the fire department.

9:12 p.m.: A motorist reported an erratic motorcycle on Hopping Brook Road. Officers were unable to find the vehicle.

9:53 p.m.: A person reported that for the past few nights suspicious vehicles containing multiple teenagers had been parked in the area of Marshall Street and Hanlon Road.
