Hopkinton Driver Charged With Drunken-Driving After Milford Crash
The man has been charged with OUI liquor, second offense, following a crash on Haven Street Tuesday that injured his passenger.

Milford Police have charged a Hopkinton man with OUI liquor, second offense, following a crash on Haven Street that left his passenger with a head wound.
David Harold Weise, 48, of 43 E. Main St., Hopkinton, was charged with OUI liquor, second offense, and failure to drive in the right lane, according to a police report. Â
Officer David Falvey reported that he responded to several reports of a crash on Haven Street about 8 p.m., and found two men standing outside a pick-up truck. The officer said he observed about six Natural Light beer cans in the brush near the vehicle and several empty cans inside the vehicle.

Weise admitted he was the driver, but was unable to take the field sobriety test, Falvey wrote.
"He attempted the heel to toe test and then stated, 'I can't, I'm too hammered.'," Falvey wrote in his report.

Weise consented to a breath test, and his readings were .186, Falvey reported.
The passenger was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center for treatment of a laceration on his head.
