Hopkinton in 1928, First Grade Class

A Hopkinton Patch user reached out through Facebook with this picture, can you help identify some of the children in the photograph?

On Wednesday afternoon, Kathleen Malmquist reached out to Patch after she found a picture of her mother's first grade class.

Malmquist said her mother, Harriet Cahill, was born in 1922 and just celebrated her 90th birthday in January.

The class of 1939 celebrated a reunion recently and Cahill was able to reconnect with some of her classmates from the picture, but there are still some children that she wasn't able to identify.

The picture brings us back to the time before color photography but one thing doesn't look like it has changed, most of the kids did NOT like having their picture taken.

Do you recognize anyone in this picture? Tell us in the comments, maybe with help everyone in the picture can be identified.
