Hopkinton Police Log: Drugs, Alcohol, Assalt and Battery Arrests

Friday, July 13
11:26 a.m.: A female protestor at the reported that a female in a vehicle ran over her sign and caused damage. The caller was not able to get the license plate number.
2:10 p.m.: Patrick B. Long, 23, of 1137 Commonwealth Ave., Allston was arrested and charged with open and gross lewdness and lascivious behavior.

4:33 p.m.: The Westborough Police Department called the to report that an individual was seen walking near the town line. The person was reported to have a handgun in his back pocket. Officer spoke with a person, but he did not have a weapon in his possession.
4:53 p.m.: A person called to complain about protest signs at the Post Office.

7:11 p.m.: Victor J. Ambers, 28, of 35 Teresa Rd., was arrested on Main Street and charged with possession of a dangerous knife, and possession of a controlled substance.
11:27 p.m.: A caller from Cobblers Way reported that a neighbor came over her house and creamed at them to turn down the music. The caller also said that the neighbor took a swing at her husband over the fence. The caller just wanted the incident logged and did not want an officer to contact the neighbor.
Saturday, July 14
1:06 p.m.: A 911 caller reported a motorcycle crash with possible personal injury on West Main Street. The person involved refused medical attention but the bike was towed.
3:18 p.m.: A caller from Breakneck Hill reported that her pocketbook was stolen from her unlocked vehicle over night.
9:49 p.m.: Multiple callers reported fireworks in the Hayward Street area. Officers had them shut it down.
Sunday, July 15
12:11 a.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Main Street and arrested Sean F. Tigue, 39, of 155 East Central St., Franklin and Scott R. Bragdon, 28, of 28 Gregory Rd., Holliston. Both men were charged with possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute, obsession of a class A substance with intent to distribute. Tigue, who was driving the vehicle, was also charged with failure to stop and speeding.
12:14 p.m.: A caller from West Main Street reported that his 7-month-old puppy had run away. called and said they had the dog.
4:45 p.m.: The manager of a service station on Main Street reported that there were youths acting suspiciously behind the bank. Two juveniles, age 13 and 14, were taken in to custody and face charges of possession of a class D substance with intent to distribute.
8:05 p.m.: A 911 caller from Grove Street reported an instance of domestic abuse was in progress. Officers responded and arrested Jeffery P. Pyne, 49, of 62 Grove Street. Pyne faces two charges of assault and battery.
Monday, July 16
7:04 a.m.: A caller from Pike Street reported a kitten on her property that had not left. The kitten was “chasing the car” as she was trying to leave.
9:35 a.m.: A construction crew reported that they found a kitten in a dumpster. Officers contacted a worker at Baypath Humane Society who said they would take the cat in.
10:46 p.m.: An officer stopped with a vehicle that was parked in the travel lane on Main Street westbound. The operator, Joseph Bagley III, 39, of 31 Nottingham Rd., Grafton, was arrested and faces charges of obstructing traffic and drunken-driving.
