Rush hour in Hopkinton can be treacherous, thankfully the accident on Cedar Street which sent one person to the hospital was early enough in the evening that it did not cause any serious backup. The accident occured when a white station wagon hit a telephone pole on Cedar Street. Officers had to temporarily close the road while they mechanically took the woman from the car. The driver is from Rhode Island and was transported to the hospital.

Just before rush hour on Monday, a car collided with a telephone pole in near the state park.
