Police Log: Decades of Debate, Stolen Wallet

Friday, June 1

9:05 a.m.: A caller reported getting a flat tire on Cole Street. The caller asserted that there was class in the roadway from a previous accident and that he would like compensation. He was referred to town hall and the was notified.

10:24 a.m.: A person reported a dispute with another resident; the person said this has been an ongoing issue since 1990. The caller did not want any police intervention but he did want the incident logged.

12:15 p.m.: An employee of a Washington Street business reported an open utility box with wires hanging out. An officer shut the box and Verizon was notified to lock it.

3:04 p.m.: An officer attempted to find a car after a hit and run crash that occurred in Ashland.

3:29 p.m.: Robert GreenLeaf, 41, of 151 King St., Framingham was arrested on warrant charges and operating with a suspended license.

5:19 p.m.: A mother reported that her daughter’s wallet was stolen from her car while it was parked at the High School. The vehicle had been parked in the lot overnight and the wallet was last seen at 10 p.m. Thursday.

6:11 p.m.: A caller reported an erratic driver on Hollis Street. The plates were expired on the vehicle. The operator left the vehicle and said they would reregister it online.

6:22 p.m.: A caller from a gas station on Washington Street reported a gas drive off. Natick Police contacted the driver who made plans to settle up with the gas station.

9:17 p.m.: A person reported that a group of teens in a tan car drove past her twice and yelled at her, causing her to fall off her bike both times.

9:30 p.m.: A caller reported youths in the brook behind the library.

10:14 p.m.: An officer assisted Animal Control on Quincy Place.

Saturday, June 2

5:55 a.m.: An officer contacted the Massachusetts Highway Department because the traffic lights at Washington Street and Highland Street were flashing.

8:33 a.m.: A person checked in with the because he was on parole in Ohio and was required to check in.

8:54 a.m.: An officer looked for a suspicious vehicle on Cole Court, but it was nowhere to be found.

12:37 p.m.: One car was towed after a crash on Washington Street.

6:17 p.m.: An officer checked a report of a vehicle that lost control on wet pavement at the intersection of Washington and Oak Streets. The operator was able to continue on.

8:37 p.m.: A caller reported a domestic assault and battery incident on Washington Street.

11:03 p.m.: A caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked on Bald Hill Road. An officer checked the vehicle that was unoccupied.

Sunday, June 3

8:22 a.m.: A caller from Central Street reported four youths, two male and two female, who may have been drunk. An officer transported one to his house and the other three to a separate location.

10:48 a.m.: A caller reported a jogger with her young kids causing a traffic hazard on Highland Street.

11:17 a.m.: Officers looked for a vehicle that fled a hit and run in Milford but were unable to locate it.

1:06 p.m.: A caller reported that she had lost her purse on a walk from her residence to the lake. The bag, which contained credit cards etc., was later returned.

5:23 p.m.: The Holliston Police Department and Holliston Fire Department responded to a crash on Washington Street.

7:35 p.m.: An officer checked a report of a possibly drunk male. The man was just out walking.

8:57 p.m.: A neighbor complained about firework use at a party on Chamberlain Street.
