Police Log: Drunken-Driving Arrest, Car Donuts

Wednesday, June 13

4:30 a.m.: A caller reported that they had broken a side mirror on a vehicle parked in a lot on Washington Street. The caller said they left a note but they felt that it would be ruined in the rain.

5:27 a.m.: A caller reported that they struck a deer on Highland Street and believed that it was still alive. An officer was unable to locate the wounded animal.

11:02 a.m.: A person from Hollis Street went in to the to report that a radio/cd player had been stolen from the dashboard of his truck overnight.

8:32 p.m.: A caller from Marshall Street reported that youths were doing donuts in their car in the parking lot. An officer arrived at the scene and spoke to youths who were playing Frisbee; they said the car doing donuts was a red Toyota Yaris.

8:56 p.m.: A caller reported that there was a vehicle operating erratically on Washington Street near Highland Street. The caller reported that the other driver was crossing the centerline and at erratic speeds. Officers stopped the vehicle on Washington Street and arrested the operator, Jennifer Lee Byrne, 31, of 70 Hastings Rd., Framingham. Byrne was charged with Drunken-driving, marked lanes violation and following too closely.
