Police Log: South Street Residents Without Power

Thursday, June 21
3:23 a.m.: An officer checked an occupied vehicle on Marshall Street. There was a couple in the vehicle talking, the officer sent them on their way.
5:50 a.m.: An officer from the found a refrigerator with its doors still attached to be removed with the trash. The officer advised the resident that the doors needed to be removed.

12:39 p.m.: A tractor trailer took down a series of electrical wires on South Street. NSTAR was notified and responded to fix the problem.
9:26 p.m.: A resident of Norfolk Street expressed concern about a parking lot attendant at being alone during the early morning hours, before the lifeguards arrival. The caller also contacted the Department of Parks and Recreation.

11:04 p.m.: An officer reported a group of youths trespassing on Summer Street.Â
