Police Log: Two Teens Arrested in Drug Bust

Monday, June 25
12:31 a.m.: A caller reported a suspicious vehicle next to his Main Street Business. An officer spoke to the driver who was a Hopkinton resident meeting a friend.
6:28 a.m.: Several callers reported a car crash on West Main Street. One operator was transported to the hospital.

9:54 a.m.: A caller reported a manhole cover in the roadway on South Street. On officer and a roadwork crew resolved the issue.
4:14 p.m.: Several callers reported a crash on Cedar Street. The vehicle was towed and the operator was taken to UMass Medical Center in Worcester.

10:52 p.m.: Officers from the  and the Massachusetts State Police arrested two men at the  on West Main Street. Drew Newton, 17, of 15 Cedar St. and Joseph Alexander Pryharski, 17, of 12 Appleseed Dr., Westborough face charges of possession of a class D substance with intent to distribute, distribution of a class D substance and conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws.
Tuesday, June 26
12:35 a.m.: A caller reported one vehicle towing another vehicle with a tow strap on West Main Street.
12:52 a.m.: A person reported a possible disabled vehicle of crash on Wood Street. When officers responded they discovered that the car was just parked there.
10:42 a.m.: A person from Lakeshore Drive reported that their canoe had been stolen.
8:01 p.m.: AAA reported that they received a phone call about a crash on Fruit Street. The operator told AAA they did not want the police to respond. The operator had hit a telephone pole.
