Police Log: Malfunctioning Traffic Light, Returned Wallet

Tuesday, June 5
12:10 a.m.: An officer from the notified the Massachusetts Highway Department that the traffic light at Washington Street and Highland Street was not working properly.
11:06 a.m.: A business on Washington street requested a VIN check on a Triumph motorcycle.

11:24 a.m.: Officers responded to an alarm activation on Bald Hill Road. A nanny set off the alarm.
1:00 p.m.: Officers responded to a report of a missing person on Dorset Road. The person soon arrived home with a family member.

1:39 p.m.: A person spoke to an officer about unauthorized access to his checking account.
3:34 p.m.: An officer responded to a report of several youths in the Andrews School. The officer responded and noted that plywood had been removed from the door.
3:53 p.m.: Officers responded to a father-son domestic dispute on Beaver Brook Drive.
10:06 p.m.: A Mohawk Path resident reported that a man rang her doorbell and put something in her mailbox. An officer checked the mailbox and found that the suspicious person had returned the wallet of the homeowner.
