Price Chopper Opening Date Set for Next Week
After months of construction the new grocery store will be opening at the Hopkinton Square plaza on June 21.

If you live on the west side of town you've been watching move along steadily for the past several months.
Yesterday Price Chopper sent out an announcement saying that the store will be opening on Thursday, June 21 at 8:30 a.m.
Store Manager James Carlson Jr. also invited residents a preview of the store before it opens.

"For a sneak preview of the store, visit our Pre-opening Fund Raising party on June 20 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. With a $5 donation at the door, you’ll get a taste of some of our specialties, see the store, and help support three local non-profits."
The local nonprofits that will be supported are , Hopkinton Youth Soccer and .

All three organizations have special projects they will be using the donations for. PJB will be helping families that normally rely on free school lunches eat through the summer, youth soccer will be providing scholarships and Baypath is looking to purchase new training equipment for dogs that are at the shelter for an extended period of time.
