Solarize Hopkinton Announces Panel Installer

On Monday Town Hall and Hopkinton Solar Coach Andy Boyce announced the installer who will be working throughout the town as part of the green energy program.

, SolarFlair Energy Inc was announced to have executed their contract with the Mass CEC.

“Hopkinton’s participation in the Solarize Mass program reflects the community’s commitment to sustainability, continued recognition of its importance and speaks to the community’s resolve and attitude towards fulfilling that commitment,” Board of Selectman Chairman Ben Palleiko said. “We are quite pleased that Hopkinton continues to be recognized as a leader in the state in advancing these and other alternative energy options.” 

The Framingham based company will be installing in Hopkinton, as well as other towns participating in the Solarize program.

“I am pleased that SolarFlair Energy, a MetroWest based company with a proven track record of helping residents and businesses reach their renewable energy goals, has been chosen to help the community implement this important program,” Senator Karen Spilka said. “Being one of just seventeen towns selected for this innovative program is recognition of the ingenuity of the Hopkinton community and its residents. Their dedicated commitment to promoting energy efficiency will help create a stronger, more sustainable future for this forward-thinking community.”

According to a statment from Solar Flair President Matt Arner, the company was founded in Hopkinton and is happy to be working on a larger scale in town.

has been scheduled for June 28 at the Residents will be able to talk to the installer and other groups related with the program to get any questions they may have answered.
