Driving With Suspended License; Uninsured Car: Malden Arrest Reports

The following are excerpts from the Malden Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Nov. 11

  • An officer pulled over 29-year-old Gokhan Morkoc, who was driving a white Mercedes Benz sedan, after he made a right turn on a red light illegally on Washington Street when there was a “No Turn on Red” sign. When the Morkoc was pulled over, he could not provide police with a drivers license. The officer on the scene was then informed by Brookline Police dispatch that the Morkoc’s right to operate in Massachusetts had been suspended for 180 days dating back to Sept. 5. He was then placed under arrest and was issued a citation for Driving With a Suspended License and a Red Light Violation.
  • An officer who was conducting traffic at the intersection of Harvard Street and Longwood Avenue and noticed a familiar white Mercedes SUV. A random query revealed a possible warrant match for the registered owner of the vehicle, 32-year-old Nathaniel Ayuk. When the Ayuk was pulled over, he did not provide the registration for the vehicle. Upon a records check, it was found that there was an active warrant for the his arrest for Driving an uninsured Motor Vehicle, Driving an unregistered Motor Vehicle, and Driving with a No Inspection Sticker.
