Everett Mayor Hopes People From all Over Visit City's 1st Village Fest
Wynn Everett casino officials will have a tent set up at Village Fest to discuss jobs, vendor opportunities and answer questions.
The first-ever Everett Village Fest will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., on Saturday, Sept. 19, along Santilli Highway in the Village Business District of Everett.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature Bob Marley’s former band, The Wailers. Guests will be able to enjoy music from area performers before the headline appearance by The Wailers and purchase food and drinks from the region’s top food trucks and Everett’s own Night Shift Brewing and Short Path Distillery.
Santilli Highway will be closed in the area to provide an open, festive atmosphere.

“Our city is growing and people outside of Everett are starting to really take notice at how much our community has to offer. Village Fest is a great event to highlight so many of our assets. We are holding it in the burgeoning niche Village Business District in partnership with amazing local businesses such as Night Shift, Short Path, Skyzone, MetroRock, Teddie Peanut Butter and of course, Wynn Everett. Village Fest will offer great food, great music, and a great community atmosphere. I hope people from all over come and visit Everett on Saturday (19) and share in the excitement and celebration of all that Everett is and is becoming,” said Mayor Carlo DeMaria in a statement.
Wynn will be hosting a tent at Village Fest to meet with community members and discuss jobs, vendor opportunities and answer questions related to the five-star Wynn Resort in Everett.

“The City of Everett that you see today is different than what it was yesterday,” said Robert DeSalvio, President of Wynn Everett. “You can feel the pride and energy growing every day as more and more young professionals, new families and growing businesses are expressing interest in Everett. An event like the Everett Village Fest is proof of the new excitement that’s in this city. Everyone is getting what Wynn knew all along—that Everett is a hidden gem. With pre-construction and hiring for our $1.7 billion Wynn Resort already underway, this is just the beginning.”
