MALDEN, MA - Mayor Gary Christenson recently welcomed Irish Consul Vice General Meg Laffan to Malden.
Laffan, a representative of the Boston Consulate General of Ireland, was in Malden to meet with Irish American Club former President P.J. Quinn and to assist individuals with the U.S. citizenship process, according to city officials.

The Consul General of Ireland in Boston works closely with the Irish Embassy, other Irish Consulates General and Irish state agencies in the U.S. to promote and protect Irish interests and to work in advancing the partnership between Ireland and the United States.
