Malden Firefighters Rescue Stuck Cat: Photos

MALDEN, MA — Malden firefighters were able to rescue a cat that ended up stuck in a small space in town on Thursday.

The fire department shared photos from the rescue on Friday morning, showing firefighters reaching into a gap between an alleyway area and a basement window.

They were able to safely retrieve the cat.

“Members from Engine 3, Ladder 3, along with Car 2 were able to rescue a cat that had gotten itself into a tough spot,” the department wrote on Facebook. “Great job by all.”
