Malden High MCAS Testing Continues Today

Here are five things Malden should know today:

1. Slight chance of snow and rain today. That slight chance of snow is before noon, then a chance of rain in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 42. Northeast wind 8 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. Little or no snow accumulation expected. Tonight, a chance of rain before 9 p.m., then a chance of snow. Cloudy, with a low around 32. Northeast wind 15 to 18 mph.

2. Editor returns today. Malden Patch Editor Chris Caesar is back from a week off. Bear with him while he plows through an overflowing email inbox and gets up to speed.

3. Malden High School MCAS testing and schedule today. Sophomores will report to school at 7:30 a.m. for the MCAS ELA Composition Test. Freshmen, juniors and sophomores report to school at 10:45 for optional lunch or at 11:15 for homeroom.
