Malden Pedestrian Struck and Killed

MALDEN, MA - A 60-year-old local man was struck and killed on Tuesday night in Malden, according to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.

The victim has been identified as Piere Simon, 60, of Malden, according to authorities.

The motor vehicle crash occurred at approximately 6 Tuesday night at the intersection of Salem and Alvion Streets in Malden.

This was the second recent fatal hit and run in the city.

This is an open and active investigation, according to the district attorney’s office and Malden Police.
