Malden Police Make Arrest After Report Of Gunshots
Police said they arrested a man, 25, after a complaint of shots fired near the Oak Grove MBTA station.

MALDEN, MA — A 25-year-old Boston-area man is set to face charges in connection with a “shots fired” complaint on Tuesday, Malden Police announced Wednesday morning.
Police said they responded to a report of shots fired near Ripley Street, which sits close to the Oak Grove MBTA station.
Police said officers found a victim, secured the area and identified a suspect. They said they later arrested Ryan Hinds, 25, in Boston with help from Boston Police.

Police said Hinds will face charges including firearm-related charges.
While police said their investigation is ongoing, they added that they suspect the parties involved knew eachother. This was likely not a random act, police said.
