Malden Police Seek Help In Coffee Theft Investigation

Police are looking to ID someone they said may have been stealing packages of coffee from a local store over the course of several months.

MALDEN, MA — Malden Police on Thursday took to social media to seek the public’s help in identifying a man in connection with a series of thefts from a Malden store.

Police shared photos of the man, saying they suspect he has been stealing packages of coffee “over the course of several months."

Police did not identify the store where they said these thefts have taken place.

"We can't make any promises, but if you recognize yourself in this post and want to make things right, come over to the Malden Police Station,” police continued in their message. “In exchange for your cooperation, we will make every effort to buy you a cup of coffee from a local Malden business, as we recognize how important good coffee is.“
