Malden School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, Vacations

MALDEN, MA — The first day of school in Malden is August 29 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Malden School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 9/5: First Day for Kindergarten

October

• 10/5: PreK-12 Early Dismissal (12:30 p.m.)
• 10/8: No School (Columbus Day)
• 10/15: Late Day Entry for Malden High School

November

• 11/5: Late Day Entry for Malden High School
• 11/6: No School (Professional Development Day For Teachers)
• 11/12: No School (Veterans Day observed)
• 11/21: Early Dismissal (11:00 a.m.)
• 11/22 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/10: Late Day Entry for Malden High School
