Merry Malden Toy, Clothing Drive Underway
The toy and clothing drive looks to benefit Malden children in need from birth to age 18.
MALDEN, MA — Malden’s Merry Malden toy and clothing drive is underway this month, Malden City Councilor Amanda Linehan announced on Sunday.
A community effort, the toy and clothing drive aims to collect goods for Malden children ages 18 and under.
Community members can request help through the toy and clothing drive by emailing MerryMalden2022@gmail.com. A volunteer will be in touch, as noted in Linehan’s announcement.

The deadline to request help through the clothing and toy drive this year is Dec. 1. Organizers plan to deliver goods before Dec. 18, Linehan said.
This year’s Merry Malden program follows a successful running of the program a year ago, with donated goods benefiting more than 350 children in 2021, according to Linehan.
“We know the need is even greater this year,” Linehan said on Sunday.
The Merry Malden program has backing from a number of community sponsors including Zonta Club of Malden.
