More Details Released About Unidentified Body On Revere Beach

State Police are investigating the death of a man who washed ashore near the Oak Island Bath House Tuesday.

REVERE, MA — State Police have released more details about an unidentified body that washed ashore on Revere Beach Tuesday. Police found the man's body around 6:50 a.m. near the Oak Beach Bath House after receiving a call from a resident of a high-rise condominium on Revere Beach Boulevard.

Investigators did not find any identification on the man. He is described as being approximately 30-40 years old and 5 feet 11 inches tall with a metal plate in his lower back, indicating he had lower back surgery in the past, police said.

His cause of death remains under investigation. Anyone with information about a man who matches that description and is missing or unaccounted for is asked to call the State Police Detective Unit for Suffolk County at 617-727-8817.
