Police: Drunk Driving Arrests; 4th Offense, 2nd Offense

MALDEN, MA - Arrest information provided by Malden Police.

Dec. 20

At 5:31 p.m., motor vehicle stop in the area of Glenwood Street and Summer Street. Michelle Hart, of Malden, arrested for operating under the influence of liquor, second offense; two counts of possession of Class C drug, and failure to keep right on hill/obstructed view. Vehicle towed.

Dec. 21

At 1:31 p.m., motor vehicle stop in the area of Pleasant Street. Brian Nelson, of Malden, arrested for operating under the influence of drugs, second offense; possession of Class C drug, second offense; and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

At 10:13 p.m., motor vehicle stop in area of Holyoke Street. Kiel Smith of Everett, arrested for marked lanes violations, operating a vehicle with a suspended license, and resisting arrest.

Dec. 22

At 7:55 p.m., arrest at Stop and Shop. Eduardo Varanda of Malden, arrested on a warrant.

At 10:30 p.m., motor vehicle stop in area of Broadway. Luis Blanks, of Mladen, arrested for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Dec. 23

At 11:17 a.m., shoplifting at Walgreens. Anne Bearden of Malden, arrested for shoplifting.

Dec. 27

At 9:31 a.m., shoplifting at Stop and Shop. Peter Georgopoulos, of Watertown, arrested for larceny over $250.

At 7:14 p.m., motor vehicle stop in area of Broadway and Webster Street. James Kwiatkowski, of Chelsea, arrested for operating under the influence of liquor, fourth offense; and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
