Storm Inbound North Of Boston: NWS Issues Weather Advisory

MALDEN, MA — Incoming storms could bring up to 40-mile-per-hour winds to communities north of Boston this afternoon as hot weather remains and patches of stormy weather make their way across Massachusetts.

The National Weather Service issued a severe weather statement around 2 p.m. The area under the statement stretches from Lowell, south toward Malden, and to the east toward Ipswich.

It will lapse a 3 p.m.

Anyone in the path of the storm is advised to seek shelter until it passes.
