MEDC Gives $25,000 Grant To Walden Woods Microbrewery
A new microbrewery is coming to downtown Marlborough. Fox 25 News featured it on its report this week.
MARLBOROUGH, MAâThe Marlborough Economic Development Corporation has some faith that some suds could boost the city's downtown, giving $25,000 to open a new microbrewery.
The corporation gave a $25,000 grant to Walden Woods Brewery to open up on Main Street, featuring the financial exchange recently on Fox 25 News. The grant was awarded under what is called the Amenities Financing Program, which focuses on bringing in restaurants and brew pubs.
