Marathoner to Help Brooks School Celebrate Walking Challenge: Lindsay Willard, a Medford resident who was the fifth American woman to cross the finish line at this year’s Boston Marathon will join Brooks Elementary School students in celebrating the completion of their walking challenge. Fourth and fifth graders at the school have been using pedometers to count their steps for the last month.

3. Chamber to Hold Annual 'Salute the Military' Luncheon Wednesday: The Medford Chamber of Commerce will honor military veterans in a luncheon at City Hall today at 12 p.m.
4. Weather: There's a 40 percent chance of rain with highs expected around 72 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Similar temperatures with a slight chance of thunderstorms is expected tomorrow.
