Good morning, here are five things to know today:

An unlicensed Somerville teenager tried to give a group of people a ride in a cab reported stolen out of Medford, according to a Somerville police report. According to the report, a Boston cab was reported stolen in Medford on May 15 and the taxi company was tracking its location with GPS. A little before 4 p.m., the Somerville police dispatcher radioed that the cab was in the area of Mystic Avenue, the report said. An officer found the car filled with five people in the parking lot of 472 Mystic Ave., according to the report.

2. Medford Memorial Day Ceremony Set for Monday: The City of Medford's Office of Veterans Services, Mayor Michael McGlynn and other city officials will hold a Memorial Day ceremony at 10 a.m. Monday at The public is invited to attend the ceremony, which is an annual event.

3. Medford Home Sales Outpace State Average: Medford home sales were up more than 36 percent in April 2012 compared to April in 2011, according to recent real estate data, outpacing the statewide average. State-wide real estate sales also spiked, but not as extemely. April saw a 22 percent increase in home sales statewide compared to April 2011, according to data from the Warren Group, a real estate research company and publisher.

4. Weather: There's a 30 percent chance of rain showers today with highs in the low 70s, according to the National Weather Service. Similar weather is expected tomorrow.
