A Lack of Substance in the Brown-Warren Senate Race?
Is the Brown-Warren race all style, no substance?

“It’s about nothing. Warren wants to talk about her father’s janitorial job, and Brown is all about if he can make a half-court shot. Let’s get serious.’’
That's what Democratic media strategist Dan Payne told the Boston Globe about the nationally-watched U.S. Senate race between incumbent Republican Scott Brown and Democrat challenger Elizabeth Warren.
The Globe reported Friday that Payne and other state political experts -- on both sides of the aisle -- are seeing a "lack of an elevated policy debate" in both campaigns. Along with the the pundits, the Globe pointed to ads for both candidates; Brown's "often laced with nostalgic comments on Boston sports" commercials, and Warren's mostly biographical ads.

Both candidates defended their campaigns, saying they regularly address a wide range of issues in campaign stops. Read the full Boston Globe report: Brown-Warren race coming up short, some say.
So far, Warren has stumped twice in Medford. First at where she told attendees that "America's middle class has been hammered" and then. Brown hasn't made a campaign stop in Medford yet.
