: A Medford man allegedly attacked two with a screwdriver over a drug debt Thursday, police said. Ryan Marckini, 18, of 41 Lund Road faces two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and two counts of assault and batter to collect a loan, according to court records.
: Good design and a good cause sent Alyssa Valentyn to the top of the competition.

: The Mystic Valley branch of the NAACP is re-starting its youth organization with a meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. at West Medford Community Center.
: Winchester Police are looking to identify a man who assaulted a young girl in broad daylight near the city line with Medford Wednesday. The girl said she was attacked from behind by a dark-skinned Asian man who is believed to be in his 20s on Grove Street. The suspect is 6-1 with a crew cut. He was wearing a baseball cap, a grey hoodie, which was unzipped and red sweat pants.
