9:14 a.m. — Police responded to a report of shoplifting at Harbor Freight Tools on 30 Commercial St. Report taken.
7:04 p.m. — Jennifer Edgecomb, 43, of 1586 Columbus Ave., Roxbury, was arrested on the charge of shoplifting at Dick’s Sporting Goods on 3850 Mystic Valley Parkway.

Thursday, Jan. 23

12:54 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a disturbance on the corner of Arlington and Monument Street. Report taken.
3:42 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a hit and run on 572 Winthrop St. Accident report due.
6:38 p.m. — Police responded to a report of threats made on 39 Greenleaf Ave.
