Caribbean Cuisine Coming Soon To Medford: Report
The new restaurant is opening next to a bakery that is under the same ownership.
MEDFORD, MA — A new Caribbean takeout restaurant is coming to Medford, according to a report from What Now Boston.
Caribbean Hut is slated to open on Salem Street, in the location that was once home of Flex Appeal. Owners Dante and Phaimyr Maxi are opening their second business in Medford, as they are also the owners of Grêp Kafé & Sweets. Their two businesses will now be neighbors on Salem Street.
Expected menu items of Caribbean Hut include jerk chicken, goat curry, griot pork, and diri ak djon djon, which is an earthy black mushroom rice.
