From our humble beginnings at a table on Congress Street during Portland's First Friday Artwalk, we've grown into a beloved household service with a big climate impact. Today, we service more than 40,000 households, schools, restaurants, businesses, and events across the region. We're expanding our reach with the vision of bringing convenient curbside composting to communities throughout New England. Our ethos is simple: make composting approachable, convenient, and impactful while supporting local economies. Through our work, we're tackling one of the largest contributors to greenhouse gas emissions—food waste in landfills—and turning it into a resource that nourishes the region's soil and farms.

All meetings are open to the public: <ul> <li>Tuesday: Committee of the Whole Meeting, 6 p.m., room 207, City Hall. City Councilors will review reprincting plans and also talk city finances and upcoming budgets.</li> <li>Wednesday: Budget Hearings, 5:30 p.m., room 207, City Call. The hearings will include various city departments</li> <li>Saturday: 8:30 a.m., room 207, City Hall. Once again, for various city departments.</li> <li>Tuesday, June 21: 5:30 p.m., room 207, City Hall. School system budget hearings.</li> </ul>
