Committee Needed For Medford Mystic River Revitalization

The Mystic River Watershed Association is looking for community members to apply to a steering committee.

MEDFORD, MA — The Mystic River Watershed Association is seeking Medford residents to join a steering committee as part of the West Medford Shoreline Revitalization Plan.

According to MyRWA, committee members will have input in the design of the project and be given a $500 stipend for signing up. The time commitment would extend through the summer.

“The Mystic River shoreline in West Medford is a daily destination for
both community members and wildlife. Over the years, its amenities have aged, erosion
has set in, and invasive species have grown,” MyRWA said in a statement.
