Community Donates Food, Supplies To Medford First Responders
From Girl Scout cookies to surgical masks, here's how local businesses and groups are contributing to first responders.

MEDFORD, MA — First responders in Medford have full bellies and clean gear thanks to contributions from local businesses and community groups. The Medford firefighters' union shouted out local donors this week, starting with Girl Scouts Troop 62970, which dropped off cookies at all fire stations over the weekend.
State Rep. Paul Donato bought B Boy breakfast sandwiches from Jim's Market for the Medford police and fire departments. Donato delivered the sandwiches in person Wednesday.
Chinese restaurant Shanghai Moon 1987 donated 500 surgical masks for firefighters to wear while interacting in the stations. The union said the contribution will help members of the department stay healthy while at work.

Local property maintenance company Bostonian Enterprises spent time disinfecting the fire stations, trucks and gear.
"Thank you so much for this much needed and appreciated service," the union wrote.
