Coronavirus: Medford Suspends Parking Rules In Business Districts
The city is taking steps to support local businesses offering takeout and delivery during the public health crisis.
MEDFORD, MA — Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn announced Tuesday that parking enforcement measures within business districts in Medford have been suspended, with the exception being public safety violations such as blocking fire hydrants, crosswalks or ramps. This is being done to support local businesses' ability to provide takeout and delivery services during closures due to the coronavirus.
Earlier this week, Gov. Charlie Baker announced a $10 million small business recovery fund to help businesses impacted by the crisis.
