A fatal fire at 3610 Mystic Valley Parkway Friday morning remains under investigation, authorities said Wednesday. Information on the fire is being withheld until the investigation is concluded, Deputy fire Chief Patrick Ripley said. Medford Fire Department Investigators and Medford Police are still working with State Fire Marshals on the case, and reports won't be made available to the public until the investigation has concluded, Ripley said. About 9 a.m. Friday, firefighters pulled a man out of his smoke-filled first floor apartment in the North Tower of Mystic Place. They performed CPR on him and he was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. He died Saturday, police said. More information on the fire can be found .
