UPDATE: Heavy Smoke at Mystic Place Caused By Candle, Papers
A fire at the Mystic Valley Parkway high-rise was put out quickly Wednesday morning.

A small fire at Mystic Place Towers was put out quickly Wednesday morning.
Firefighters responded to the 7th floor of 3600 Mysitc Valley Parkway about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, where they encountered more smoke than fire, Deputy fire Chief Gerald Irving said. It was brought under control quickly.
The smoke was caused by papers that were accidentally laid over a candle in an apartment there, Irving said. It caused minor damage.

It was the third time fire crews have been called to the high-rise complex in the last nine months.
No one was hurt in the incident.
