The Boloco restaurant on Boston Avenue will be giving away free burritos Tuesday as part of its 15th birthday celebration, according to a Boloco press release. The Boston-based Mexican food chain is holding a total of 15 free burrito days between Feb. 24 and April 4 at locations around New England. The shop at 340 Boston Ave., near the Tufts Campus, is slated to hold its free day Tuesday. It is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Boloco plans to give away about 35,000 burritos company-wide, the press release said. It is also holding a fund-raising drive and aims to raise $25,000 for the Life is good Playmakers over the course of the giveaway. The charity is the charitable arm of Boston-based lifestyle brand Life is good, the press release said.
