Green Line Extension Meeting Tonight; Horns Still Sound Through W. Medford

Good morning, Medford. Here's five things to know today:

Green Line Meeting Tonight: The Metropolitan Area Planning Council will host a meeting at 51 Winthrop Street on the Tufts campus at 6:30 p.m. to discuss land-use possibilities around a proposed Route 16 Green Line station. The station is a proposed second phase of the Green Line Extension Project, which currently plans for a terminal station at the intersection of College Avenue and Boston Avenue.

Mayor Michael McGlynn spent much of Wednesday afternoon on the phone with state officials in hopes of finding a way to silent train horns in Medford soon.
