We're expanding our reach with the vision of bringing convenient curbside composting to communities throughout New England. Our ethos is simple: make composting approachable, convenient, and impactful while supporting local economies. The FBI recently released its annual <a href="https://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/crime-in-the-u.s/2014/crime-in-the-u.s.-2014/tables/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">"Crime in the United States" report</a>, which includes information about Medford.According to the report, Medford saw 106 violent crimes in 2014. Violent crime includes offenses involving force or the threat of force: murder and non-negligent manslaughter, rape, robbery and aggravated assault, according to the FBI.There were five reported rapes, 24 robberies, and 77 aggravated assaults.Other crime stats for Medford include 674 larcenies, 98 burglaries, 79 motor vehicle thefts, and two cases of arson.Nationally, violent crime decreased nationally last year by 0.2 percent from 2013, according to the report.
