Kindergarten Entry Age Changed; Andrews School Principal Picked

: The school committee unanimously voted Monday night to roll back the kindergarten cutoff birth date from December 31 to August 31. The change will be effective starting in the 2012-2013 school year.

: Paul Dalleva will take over as Principal of Andrews Middle School next year. Dalleva, who currently serves as assistant principal at the school, was appointed by the school committee last night.

: A water main break shut High Street to traffic Monday afternoon, and the road wasn't expected to open back up until some time this morning, officials said.

: Hepregen, located at 200 Boston Ave., a technology company with a pharmacuetical drug development focus, received the $500,000 matching grant through the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center, according to a press release.
