Many Medford Roads To Be Closed For Run Race Event

MEDFORD, MA — The city announced that the following streets will be closed this Saturday, Sept. 27 for the Run Medford road race.

Salem Street, Webster Street, Main Street, High Street, Century Street, Winthrop Street, Lawrence Road, Governors Avenue, Riverside Avenue, and Forest Street will all see closures in some capacity from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Century Street, Riverside Avenue, and Governors Avenue will be fully closed with no parking on either side. High Street will be closed on the westbound side up until Playstead Avenue, while the south side of Winthrop Street will be closed to Lawrence Road. Main Street will be closed at the Mystic Valley Parkway intersection, with a secondary barrier slated to be at Clippership Drive
The road known as City Hall Mall west of City Hall will also be fully closed with no access to the parking garage located on it.
